Welcome to the website of the German-speaking Congregations in Scotland and North-east England.
We see our website as a bridge (German: Brücke) from us to you. The name also echoes the "Brückenbrief" (lit. bridge letter), the magazine of our extended parish. Furthermore you will find all the cities where we have congregations or preaching stations represented through bridges.
Whether you are already a member of one of our congregations, new to the area, or planning a visit ahead, this website will give you access to information on current services, events and news; background information about us and our extended parish; and links to other useful church, social and cultural websites.
Our extended parish is spread out from Middlesbrough in England, to Inverness in the north of Scotland. You can find information about our individual congregations and preaching stations in Aberdeen, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.
